Owned and operated by brothers William and Simon Kelly, Kelly Project Management (KPM) has been operating in the highly competitive Muskoka construction industry for over 20 years. Our portfolio includes new builds as well as renovations on cottages, homes, and boathouses, plus dock-building and full landscaping services.

Growing up in the historic Mortimer’s Point region of central Lake Muskoka, we developed a deep reverence for the natural beauty, topography, and cultural history of this unique part of Canada.

Since our childhoods, our family has built and fostered lifelong friendships throughout the region. Now, these longstanding family relationships benefit our company and our clients in two ways. First, they deepen our familiarity with and knowledge of those working in Muskoka’s trade industries and service companies. Put simply, we grew up and developed a mutual respect with many of the operators of the subtrade companies that we now collaborate with and count on throughout each project. This means we have fostered strong ties with excavation and site-preparation experts, surveyors, blasters, plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, steel and crib dock builders, and home automation companies, to name a few.

Secondly, as Muskoka builders of custom-crafted cottages, boathouses, homes, and accessory structures, we at KPM build and maintain long-term relationships in the community. The network that is created by virtue of the simple fact that our kids go to school here, we support local fundraising initiatives, and our families and team members are active in the community–these are undeniably positive forces that contribute to our ability to provide our clients with an exceptionally smooth design and build process.

After two decades, these relationships are now providing us with opportunities to work with the children of some of our first clients.

We are experienced in designing and building both lakefront and non-waterfront homes and cottages, and have completed construction and renovation projects as far west as Parry Sound and as far east as the Haliburton Highlands.

Where do we start with these guys. We are truly blessed to have some of the hardest working, forward thinking, and problem solving individuals. Here’s an intro to each of our members:

We had the pleasure of meeting Myles while in trade school. His talent then and now go far beyond his years. He is the most thoughtful and organized builder out there. He has a solution or an idea on how to problem solve just about every detail in the cottages we build.

We met Dan when we first got into the industry. Long with his dad (who he has learned and honed his craft with for years), they are a great team, and have built countless buildings around the lakes. He has great attention to detail and is always thinking about the end product and how it will work.

Mark is the newest member of the team. The moment he walked on site, he just meshed with everyone. He will be starting his first year of trade school shortly, and already comes with a wealth of understanding, and craftsmanship. He has great insight and understands the next steps of the building process.

James is a very talented and hard-working carpenter. He is another one of our biggest assets. He can tackle any job and see it through to completion. He has been in and around the building world since his high school days. He is very good at laying things out and being a few steps ahead of the build so everyone has answers.
